We have always been protected by innumerable layers.The first one being that of a mother's love and care.She is the one who we owe our existence to.She is the one who sacrificed months of sleep just to make sure we sleep well.She is the one who chose to stay back at home to keep a check on our home-works,our bags being set according to the timetable and missed out on various occasions where she could have had fun.In the wake of organizing our Birthday parties,she completely forgot about hers.She is the one who acts as our alarm clock, She is the one who is our personal chef,our personal chauffeur.She is the one who acts as a punching bag whenever we are mad or down.She understands and smiles it off.She is the one who holds our hands while we are sick.When we get reprimanded by our fathers for some mischief of ours,she sits in the corner and weeps her eyes out.Whenever we lose something she acts as the "Google" search bar and always seems to find the missing item.She is the one who is on our service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.She stops living her life,she lives ours instead.She doesn't meet her friends for months or goes out to pamper herself.She is the one....I would probably take an eternity to point out the generosity of our mothers and even that wouldn't be enough...Despite that, when ever we are asked "What our mothers do?!?" All we come up with is " My Mom is just a home-maker".
She is not JUST a homemaker.She is everything and beyond.So,take a moment or two do something special for her and make her feel valued. Say " Thankyou" to her for always being there.Make her feel loved like she always does.With our base layer being ever so strong,Nobody can ever shake us.
The second layer Is that of a Grand-Mothers love.She is the one who constantly worries we haven't had enough food even with our plates full.She is the one who imparts wisdom upon us through the numerous stories she shares with us.She is the one who always thinks of us as being right and wonderful.
The next layer is that of a sister.She is the one who fights with us every day and night but if someone else raises a finger at us she prepares herself for a World War.She is our first friend,She is the one who opens the gates for us late at night after a party.She is the one who listens to all our problems.She is the one who is a prop to all our experiments.She is the one who always looks out for us.She is the one who saves every penny to buy us a special Birthday gift.
The next layer is that of a wife's.She is the one who leaves her family,her parents,her home to start a whole new world with us.She is our confidante.She is the one who knows what we need.She is the one who waits for us to have that one meal together.She is the one who knows us better than we know ourselves .She is the one who bears with us through all our flaws.She is the one who makes our world hers and nurtures it with love and care.She makes everything look Beautiful.
The next layer is that of a daughter.A daughter is the one us makes feel complete.Daughters are synonymous to innocence and warmth.She is God's blessing showered upon us.She is the one who makes pretty cards for us.She is the one who thinks of her father to be a superhero.She is the one who gives Life a meaning.
We are all protected by these multiple layers of love and warmth.With even one layer missing our world will fall flat on our face.A woman is a daughter,a wife ,a mother,a sister, a grandmother.She is everything and beyond.She can love endlessly and tirelessly.All she expects in return is to be treated with respect.She is not an object.She deserves the right to do whatever she wants to do without anybody dictating what is expected of her.Dont set standards of a good woman,Make the world a better and a worthy place for her.Make her feel loved and protected.Give her the credit she deserves.Raise your sons to be a better man,make them understand the value of a woman.Make them understand that if a woman can give birth to a new life,Nothing in this world is impossible for her.To all the girls and the women out there embrace your womanhood...Love yourself...Be yourself.Dont think of the world to be a ruthless place because of a few nincompoops.There is still a lot of good left in the world,never let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do.Just be a better version of yourself.
