"Mother"
The one word that leaves us all choked up.The word mother in itself envelopes warmth around its being.We share a connect with our mothers that is inexplicable, it is the one bond which is extremely celestial in nature.We all see the presence of God in the love of our mothers.When we are hurt ,the first word that we utter is that of our mother's and no matter where she is in the world she seems to know that we are in pain, such is the love of a mother's.
They say a mother is the best teacher one can have.
She teaches us the lesson of strength by bearing us in her womb for nine whole months.
She teaches us the lesson of unconditional love when she holds us in her hands for the very first time and forgets the hours of labour pain she went through just seconds ago.
She teaches us the lesson of sacrifice when she stays awake for months just to make sure we sleep right.
She teaches us the lesson of contentment when she stays away from her social life for the longest time possible to make sure we are taken care of.
She teaches us the lesson of conviction even when we are not sure of ourselves she is someone who thinks we can do the impossible.
She teaches us the lesson of experimenting by seeing our favorite cartoon shows with us just to keep us entertained.
She teaches us the lesson of hospitality by spending hours in the kitchen just to treat our friends to nicest of the cuisines.
She is our mirror to the world and makes us realize that there is both good and bad in the world and helps us in choosing the right path.
She makes our dreams hers, and leaves no stone unturned in helping us fulfilling them.
She will fight the world for us, but if we are wrong she makes sure we learn a lesson so strong that we don't even think of making the same mistake again.
She assures us that there is nothing to fear when she is around.
She is someone who always wants the best for us and showers all her blessings on us.
She celebrates our every little achievement and flaunts our victories amongst all her friends.
She thinks we are beautiful even if we look like potato heads.
She constantly worries about us as she knows our worst fears.
She knows what we are like without all the pretences that we put up.
She is someone whom we take for granted , for someone we shout our lungs out, if we are upset and the best part of it all is that she understands and even after a major fight she would still offer us food.
She teaches us lessons that we pass on to our children and many generations to come...
Blessed are Mothers for they are God's gift to each one of us.
I know many of you feel that not one day but 365 days should be dedicated to our mothers as they are someone who have been on an unpaid job ever since without a vacation. But let us all take this one day to celebrate our mothers as they are everything and beyond and are the roots to our being.
